IntelliReach Releases Products That Help Organizations Monitor Employee Email Usage
Next Generation Products Enable Real-time Auditing and Historical Content Management of Email
Dedham, Mass, June 28, 2002 - IntelliReach Corporation, a leading provider of email management solutions for organizations worldwide, today released Content Auditor and Content Inspector, two products created to help organizations audit, scan, and better control email content both historically and in real-time.
Content Inspector for Exchange is a powerful and effective content policy product that gives an organization complete control over email in all users’ mailboxes. Content Inspector provides organizations with the ability to search the entire Exchange Information Store, including all users’ folders (Inbox, Deleted Items, Sent Items, Calendar, Notes, etc.). This product is able to search for matches to directly entered words or phrases and can automatically delete emails containing non-compliant content from user mailboxes (including attachment files), or it can leave messages intact. Copies of non-compliant emails can also be copied and forwarded to the administrator. Content Inspector’s new functionality now includes expanded search options for attachments, the ability to search mailboxes by date, and an added option to conduct exhaustive searches of all message and text fields.
Content Auditor for Exchange provides real-time monitoring and auditing of inbound, outbound, and internal email. Content Auditor continuously scans the content of email messages flowing through the Exchange messaging engine for specific message content. The product can scan hundreds of messages per minute, searching for over 200 definable words and phrases. When Content Auditor detects the presence of email with non-compliant content, the product can forward a copy of the critical message to an administrator. Content Auditor also contains an Inbox scanning tool that enables administrators to manually delete, forward, or remove attachments from messages that have critical content.

Additionally, IntelliReach plans to release Insight for Exchange, a complete enterprise level email reporting system for Exchange 5.5 and 2000 messaging systems. Insight for Exchange builds on MicroData’s MELIA product and will be available 3rd quarter 2002.
